About us
Basics & Trends is for long located near thé flower auction in Aalsmeer, became a part of the Van Dillewijn Group in 2004. With the transition to the Van Dillewijn Group, the local brenches at the smaller Dutch flower auctions were transferred from Van Dillewijn to Basics & Trends. With this transition, Basics & Trends became a major player in florist accessories and articles with six local brenches throughout The Netherlands. The smaller ones (Eelde and Tilburg) are operation under the name 'Basics'. The bigger ones (Aalsmeer, Bleiswijk, Ede and Naaldwijk) operate under the name 'Basics & Trends'. In 2010 the brenches in Bemmel en Vleuten have been closed. In addition there was a brenche opened in Ede. That same year the store in Liverpool(UK) has opened.
In a relative short time, Basics & Trends has proven to be the 'Specialist for the Florist'.

The board of Basics & Trends is the same as the board of the
Van Dillewijn Group.

Commercial Director:Kees Vooijs.
The management of Basics & Trends is completed by Norbert Albers (business unit manager) and Clazinus van Vugt (Purchase manager).
